Hey guys, here's a quick question.

What's better for quarrying? Nether, Overworld or Deep Dark?
Deep Dark

Here are the results so far: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uKtHNeEolt6djzDbrBMD6JEhYbQFpmOkwOzWTQnG3qA/edit?usp=sharing
(all the end products from the nether tab are assumed to be put in a Red-stone Furnace first, then Pulv'd)

My guess is it's the Overworld since there are fewer blocks of air on average, thusly yielding more ore blocks, but then you miss out on that juicy yield of 2 ore blocks to the 1 nether ore block. There are more junk ores in the nether though, Amber ore blocks from BoP, but then you can get Pig Iron from the nether, something lacking in the overworld... If some one had the knowledge I guess they could make an ender quarry in each and see what'll come of each. (with a little math to break down the total yield and such) With the deep dark though, it only generates double the vanilla ores, so it's of little use to a mod-pack user...

After the addition of the Deep Dark in the testing, I have come to the conclusion that the Deep Dark truly is the best dimension to mine in. It has been said the the Deep Dark only doubles vanilla ores in FTB Infinity, but that is incorrect. The results have shown a marked increase in ALL ore and mineral yields in the Deep Dark compared to the Overworld. During the testing of the Nether I disabled ore explosions on the configs, real world testing may not be comparable.

The testing was done with an Ender Quarry with a World Hole upgrade and a x3 Speed upgrade (for my sanity). During the testing, I came to find that most sorting configs couldn't cope with the speed at which it mines (!!!) so I used an Ender Chest. Placing another Ender Chest in mid air, I put 6 Warp Itemducts from TE and 6 Resonant extractors on each pipe. This fed into a row of 6 Draconium chests, and several Resonant caches. the caches were to draw the stones out (with Sucction Servos from TE4) so that none of the chests ever clogged.

Power usage was not measured, but I assume it to be late game tier usage.

Here is the world if any one wants to take a lookie. (the ender quarry is on the roof of the nether.)

I used a tesseract placed right next to the Quarry and used EnderIO item conduits at my base to filter and route them. I don't know why you had a speed problem because the tesseract seems to force as much as possible through the conduits as it wants. which in a glitch there was a buildup of about 100,000,000 items in the tesseract after the system got backed up and it spit out items so fast it would instantly fill any chest. My problem was getting all the items trashed because nothing that deleted items like the trashcan or any void chests could nearly keep up. and even at about 100 stacks a second it took me hours to get it cleared out.
