DST is often BS anyway.
In England, when it was being set up, they tried it one way around. Statisticians had worked out that the way they had put it would be the best way, but the media, being the dicks they often are, blew it all out of proportion with the increase in deaths one way, while nobody was reporting on the lives saved. So, politicians' job is pretty much to shut the media up, and they put it back the other way. Fucking great.
