I'm just wondering if there's any way to output them to multiple devices? So far the only way I can use them once they're full is by placing them directly next to the thing using the energy.
I have a system of 50 lasers for an assembly table, and would like to be able to output the energy from my cell into the conductive pipes.
Is there a way to get the energy out of the cell and into conductive pipes?
I've tried wooden conductive pipes, nothing happens.
I've tried placing it directly beside my golden conductive pipes, nothing happens.

You could use Redstone Energy Conduits.
He also has to look at the connector between the cell and the conduit and hit it with a wrench to make sure the arrow is pointing out. This also means he will need at least 2 conduits to feed one machine.

Probably should've said that as well. I was just so taken back by the initial question. How did you make it all the way up to lasers without getting ReC?

yes, if u have enough infrastructure for a redstone enercell, then you should definitely be using conduit.

Heck, in the "I never have" thread someone said they never used wooden tools. My version in the past 2 worlds, never made BC conduit, only REConduit. And did so with only 2 hobbyist engines. :D

Since the stupid things blow up (really, WHY???) I try to go toward cells asap. I do tend to make a few just to be able to connect multiple machines to a single engine but the blowing up mechanic is incredibly annoying.

"Redstone Energy Cell -> Wooden Conductive Pipe -> Golden Conductive Pipe -> Consumer" should work just fine. I've done it before, since conductive pipes can be less lossy over short distances (although this ceases to be true in 1.5.1).

However, you're trying to power lasers for an assembly table, and those are generally placed in tight clusters. Especially if you have 50 of them. The result is that the moment you hook up golden conductive pipes to these clusters of lasers, you automatically get loops. And the presence of loops completely kills energy transmission in conductive pipes in many cases.

Therefore, you could adjust your laser setup so that there are no more loops created by the conductive pipes powering them... but really, the better solution is to migrate to energy conduits. They don't care about loops at all.

I've done that in my beginner's guide... trying to each a new generation and all that :)

Nope. If the consumer is 'full' the pipe will eventually blow up.

But that's true for any kind of conductive pipe implementation where you don't regulate the energy flow (and you can for example shut off the energy cell via gates and pipe wires). Doesn't change the fact that you can indeed transfer MJ from a redstone energy cell into a conductive pipe network, which is the point here.
