Is there a way to re-generate land after adding a new mod with a new ore so that you can find said ore in existing chunks?
Lots of mods have a config option for "retrogenning" (I remember when that was the coolest thing ever ). Check through the config for the mod; look for an option for retrogenning. It should be a true/false. Read the comment and set the value to the thing appropriate for what you want.Is there a way to re-generate land after adding a new mod with a new ore so that you can find said ore in existing chunks?
In this particular case the mod in question is the transformers mod. Which mod is it that you need retrogen for? Someone here might be able to tell you if that mod has retrogen options.
That only works if the ores are generated using the CoFH world generation methods. Or you have added the Ores into the CoFH generation files./Cofh reloadworldgen have been running a quarry forever on the Same Spot

In Most modpacks the Oregen gets handled by cofhThat only works if the ores are generated using the CoFH world generation methods. Or you have added the Ores into the CoFH generation files.
Yes but if he is adding a mod that mods ore is not accounted for in the cofh ore handling file. He would have to add it in. Therefore unless he added the ore into the cofh ore handling reloading the world gen would not work.In Most modpacks the Oregen gets handled by cofh
