Okay so I have a quarry in the deep dark which stores all items in deep storages and bees in a filing cabinet, however because Im auto processing the ores the deep storages "empty out" and then other items fill the deep storage for the ores, is there anyway I can tell the AE system to always leave 1 ore in the deep storage? If you dont understand what Im trying to say please tell me, Il try and think of a better explanation.

The simplest option I can think of is to explicitly tell your transport system what to put in each DSU rather than rely on it filling them up with the same item type. What are you using to transport items from the quarry to the DSU's?

Put an export bus on the DSU, and tell it to only send 1 type of ore there.

In that case, get a couple Pneumatic Servos, apply them to the Itemducts and set them to only put one type of ore into each DSU -> no more random stuff after it empties. Or if you have JABBA, get those barrels and lock them as said above. I don't think you actually need a buffer of 2 billion ore.
