I have had FTB for quite a while,and I have a really bad computer, and need optifine for everything,I got optifine a while ago (month I think) and it worked fine,I had fun, mined, and killed thing.Now optifine just does not want to work,I have the proper 1.4.2 version for the 1.4.2 FTB.

Copy the optifine zip file to FTBBETAA\instmods folder, if you tried the convoluted method of trying to put it into the jar file you'll have to delete that jar file and download it again (by doing a force download).
