OpenGL: ~~ERROR~~ RuntimeException: No OpenGL context found in the current thread.
Launcher Version:
1.4.11
Modpack:
direwolf20
Modpack Version:
1.7.10
Log Link:
Details of the issue:
Feed the beast doesn't launch. I searched up the problem and saw it was a drivers issue, tried updating but apparently there is no update for my computer? It used to work before windows 10 and I can no longer downgrade.

It worked! I was updating my Java which was breaking anything but all I had to do was downgrade to Java 8 Upgrade 51! Thank you so much @jikuja; I really appreciate it!

If it works with Java 7 and not 8 you need to tweak the video setting for 8 that allows it to use opengl.

Downgrading is a hack that will only return when later version end up requiring java 8.

I believe you can fix this by downloading drivers directly from intel. The reference windows drivers through windows update will show up to date but not be as updated, or have full functionality, that intel drivers will.

For those with Intel HD (1st gen), and HD 2000/3000 (Sandy Bridge) graphics, using Windows 10, this issue seems to be linked to updated java versions. Using the native launcher, or downgrading to a java version older than 8 update 60 seems to correct this issue. If you are currently using the native launcher, but are experiencing this problem, you may have to open the Edit Profile menu, and un-check the Executable box to reset the java version being used.
tldr: mojang also suggests that using java 8u51 or older fixes this problem.

Can you offer the link? There is lot of users with this problem and they would like to get fixed drivers.

I and users with those GPU models are still waiting. Do you have direct link or exact driver version?

Several things.

1. You necroed an old thread.

2. According to your log your client isn't even modded and is running a version of Minecraft that doesn't even have a version of Forge out for it. You may have been better served going to the MCF for support.

3. Your question was literally answered earlier in this thread.

In the future, consider reading through previous posts in a thread, as well as noting the dates they were posted.

Hi,I have read and tried all the above but still have the same issue. Same report as others have posted. I emailed Minecraft support yesterday but still waiting for a response. I've spent too many hours trying to fix this so my son can play and I'm just about fried!! I don't want to give up so can anyone suggest something I'm not doing in my settings?? I downgraded and recieved violation codes after that so went back to current Java update. Is this an OpenGL problem or an IsModded problem. Please help..Thank you!

To all the people on windows 10 and having this problem. Download java 7. when you open minecraft launcher at the bottom on the left where it says version click edit profile, then click the Executable just tick it, delete whatever it's currently saying and copy paste this C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\javaw.exe this is for 64bit if you have 32 bit pc and and java 32bit then copy this C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\javaw.exe and then press save profile and it should work fine now. I also have windows 10 Pro and with java 8 it didn't work but with java 7 it works.

Or you could just install java 7 instead and it should work lol
But for people who want to have both java the newer which is java 8 and older java 7 this will help xD
