Well, get a great server, add one great admin, and just add celebrity forums-men. Then you give them a thread to talk on, and *BOOM*!

Basically just another form of white listing. Do you want to go through 100 apps are do you want to ask a dozen people you kind of know?

Same thing Guude was doing for Mindcrack (and no Im not saying I am anything remotely as good as any of the mindcrack crew)

To be honest I'm not the sort to go looking for a server to join so being asked just happen to work for me.
 
of course you get people like me that hide in the dark reading all the post's and when i comment kill all the threads
 
I can't stand servers, really. I just wish i could play Minecraft with my 3 friends without having to buy a huge server and everything. I have an amazing computer, but Minecraft decides to be Minecraft.

Um you can do that Choco

I run a server off my own pc for friends and family when they are in the mood to do so. The server takes little to no memory if you just have a few people on it. Just make sure you got decent internet.

Yeah I ate triple meat treats that came from my automated factory which the walls are made from emeralds and highly advanced Machine Blocks, and I have an automated Solar maker.

Wow I'm in a really sarcastic mood tonight.

How do you make triple meat treats?

I'm still holding on to the satisfaction of being the first forum guy to be accepted to the server. Also knowing that there's a ton of people now makes me not regret leaving. :3
 
Good news everyone! I finally broke down and accepted the invite. (ok, it only took like 4 days). Gonna be trying a no mining game. Gonna hurt to miss my AE, but maybe a renewable source will come in at some point or I can trade you guys for quartz at some point. Gonna be fun.
