So many people joined since I left. o_o

Anyway, I like playing SSP because I don't have to deal with creepers and I can cheat into the FTB tier and not deal with the mostly empty realm of vanilla.

Oh, just skip to pre-mid game? I've always wanted to do this in an SSP world, and I've tried. It just...ruins the point of the game. I can dupe everything I want to, but if I use NEI just once, for a half stack of dirt...my game may as well be corrupt and I'll avoid it like the plague.

And I think Lath was there before us or at the same time. Saice wasn't on that rap thread, but Lambert was. Then there's Poppy, Kami, Linda, and the 3 or so people who were on before. I think they're Jerome's IRL friends (which I have no problems about, it's cool by me).[DOUBLEPOST=1365296939][/DOUBLEPOST]

Shurg... I'm living in BFE with my spouce.

I also have a box of Exedra's stuff on my porch so I think they will be setting up shop somewhere near me.

To be honest I like being at 2k away from anyone else so I can have a neither portal that does not have derpy link issues.

I have yet to see Exedra on the server! Who's they, who's working with Exedra?
Me and Poppy had the nether link issue, but we fixed it. By removing it from an old base, we'll have the portal link right to our place. And mystcraft will let us be rid of the derpish portals and just use link books which take up less space.

i both hate and love being on a server although i have been on some were it seemed nobody was ever on and i've also was in one on tekkit nice and small until some little kid uttered the word im bored and i spent most of my time being greifed so i understand both points of view i just like a server because when your doing some repetitive task its nice to have someone to talk to

I think lath joined after. I may be wrong, but it went: Jeromes friends, me, you and lambert and linda, mooseman9, saice and kami, seluna, tehBlob and poppycocks, exedra, then lathanael or whatever.

Also, when I start a new world I give myself an enderpouch and sometimes a philosophers stone. Sometimes I give myself an apiary and a scoop. Sometimes a Thaumonomicon/wand.. I have different "classes" or starting packs I use.

Also saice, did kami and seluna get my stuff I left?

Well SO DO I!
It's like using a deployer to send out a bucket of water to move a piece of redstone to turn the signal off but it was really inverted so it can be sent to a dispenser to shoot an egg.
Yea, you could use the deployer for the egg, but...is that any fun?

Whoa....you left STUFF? Saice has stuff! I need stuff!
And I like the classes idea. Sometimes I'll fly across the land searching far and wide to find a home, and then I'll loot any village/dungeon I see. So it's stuff I could have gotten really early, but it's stuff like Shovels of the Earthmover, bees, frames, a bit o' glowstone, maybe a logic matrix, and some armor. Bonus points for portal guns, as I find them underground instead of villages usually.

When servers get crowded, chunkloaders get banned.
When things get banned, people grief.
When people grief, people rush.
When people rush, they finish the game.
When people finish the game, they leave.
When people leave, servers die.
When servers die, work is lost.
When work is lost, people get so frustrated and they try to avoid SMP, and play SSP on a laggy laptop, then get it overheated and lose the ability to play FTB at any meaningful FPS and have to restart their computer and remove everything from it, including documents and pictures and wait to see if it works and then find out it doesn't work and get mad and then try to get a gaming computer and realize the huge investment they will have to make and end up chilling on the forums with framerate lag on Google Chrome with two tabs open.
