Oil and fuel production with bees

I am trying to produce oil and fuel with bees. I want to know:

What bees produce oil from combs and what bees produce fuel from combs?

What bee would produce the most resources to make the most fuel the fastest?

You need to get Oily Bees to start getting Oil, and Refined can produce Biofuel.
Other then that, I'm in the same boat, knowing SFA about getting Oil from Bees.

Also you may be thinking "I asked about getting Fuel from Bees, not Biofuel". What I mean is no bee directly produces Fuel anymore. A lame nerf, but such is life.
I guess that's why this mod was made.

One alveary with a fastest production(you need thaumic bees to get that attribute)/longest life/nocturnal/rain distilled bee or 10 apiaries with the same kind of bee will suffice to keep a 36 HP boiler running once heated up.
Though with just one alveary the level will fluctuate because comb generation is random, better go with 2 alvearies per HP boiler in my opinion(where you're assured an excess).

I usually start with some rocky bees before changing them to distilled/fastest/longest life so you get nocturnal/rain/cave for free and the 1x fertility makes it so that you don't have to bother with excess drones.

You need 2x Fertility to even get a drone to breed with your princess last I checked. Mind you, this was ages ago, back when the original FTB pack was introduced and Sir Sengir had bees added just for EE2, so this likely has been upgraded.

Besides, Excess Drones means extra Liquid DNA, and that's a plus.

Yeah, now fertility indicates the number of drones you get, 1x = 1 drone.
Seems logical since you'll always get a princess anyway.

And I have a separate line for liquid dna with shortest lived bees with 4x fertility, no reason to bother injecting rocky bees with a fertility serum.

I keep a stack of every drone for every bee either in the drone lines or the apiaries.. the reason, its quicker to just take a half a stack of drones and drop them in a chocoframe (7 housings) automated apiary and have the princess fully converted fairly quickly to match all the stats of the original genetic line. The trash drones will get automatically recycled through normal drone disposal lines. I found this ALOT faster and more reliable then injecting each of the ideal traits etc when I need to add a line.
