King Lemming has recommended people try out Ender IO in the interim. To poorly paraphrase his post in his locked thread, it's nice for new mods to develop and offer options.

indeed, EnderIO is quite a nice new mod. it still needs a bit of balancing and such, but it's already quite awesome the way it is now.
I agree with lemming that it's sometimes good that popular mods aren't updated yet, as it gives new mods their time to shine
I have my 1.6.4 Mods ready. Except for the Ore Spawn, the config for that in Termal Expansion was great. And i know how i like to set it up with TE. If i need to use other mods i need to test it out again.
Oh 1. question. I have seen in some FTP Streams that when they test the ore spawn. They removed every non ore block from the game, so it is easy to see how good the distribution of the ores is. How can i do this?
