Windows .exe Not launching

FTB Launcher version (if this isn't the newest update update and try again): 1.0.6
Minecraft Version: 1.4.4
Java version: Version 7 Update 7
Detailed description of the issue / how can the issue be recreated:
For some reason, when I open the launcher, it opens fine. When I click "Launch" the launcher closes fine. However, the game never opens. Everything just closes and nothing happens.
Error logs: None, the console is closed upon error.

Problem solved, it only seems to do this if I raise the memory above 1.0gb
At 1.0gb it launches fine, above 1.0gb, this error occurs.

If you have 32 bit Java you can't use more than a very small amount. If you have a 64 bit system, get 64 bit Java and you can use more RAM ;)

I used to have this issue when I formatted my drive. I accidently installed 32 bit Java on a 64bit OS (Windows 7 Home Premium) and it constantly crashed my minecraft with the "Ran out of Memory" dialogue.

Always have the right Java installed! Java's website sometimes misbehaves by giving you the wrong download.
