Summary of the problem No mobs spawning

Pack Version 3.0.0

What is the bug? I got no mobs spawning.
Im in the Ocean biome(books says there spawn mobs)

I made 1 Mob spawn area in a plains biome and one big mob spawn area in an ocean biome.

I got Defficulty on Normal-hard
Im more then just 20 block away from the areas
Spawn areas are chubkloaded aswell
Minecraft restarted multible times

Did I make something wrong or is this a strange bug just on myself?

are u on an server if yes
the server i played on disabled hostile mob spawning due to lag they do have an /warp shop and /kit mobs where u can get the drops

No, I am on a Singleplayer World: World gen is "Garden of Glass".

Problem solved!

I used a Mega Torch to smelt my stone into lava.
Mega Torches stop Mob Spawning in a 64x64 radius.
