Summary of the problem no mobs spawn

What is the bug? in my mobfarm dont spawn any mobs
can anyone help me ?

The spawn area needs to be at least 24 blocks away. If you use F7 does it show red X's on the ground.

I know but in only 2.5 there spawned a lot of mobs and now i did the update to 2.5.4 and there spawn now no mobs and i did nothing with the mobfarm !?

There is a mob cap limit. Do you have things spawning elsewhere? try typing /cofh killall into chat. This will kill all mobs. Now see if they spawn.

Ok i try it tomorrow but thanks at the moment. If it is not working i dont know xD

Are you in peaceful? Do you have a magnum torch down? Is there a high number of mobs on the map already?

Mobs do spawn in the pack with absolutely no problem, make sure something isn't keeping them from doing so in your client.

Can you try a new world and just cheat stuff in to check that mobs spawn. Also if you press F7 do you see red x's in your spawner or even yellow ones. Also did you try the cofh command I mentioned above.

I have red x's and i did the cofh command but he said there are no mobs and tomorrow i tra it with a new world
