No Machine Audio

None of my machines except for my generator make any sounds.
I've gone into the IC2 config and set audio to true, but still no difference. I can't find any other audio config.
Have the sounds been removed in 1.5.2? All mob and other sounds work fine.
I did a search and could not found any answers. I miss hearing the hum of my work shop.

Does anyone have sounds coming from their machines other than the generator?
Should I continue troubleshooting or have the sounds been removed?

I have sounds from the extractor but sometimes they drop away then when the next item process it comes back.

I haven't consistently heard sounds from IC2 machines since Minecraft 1.2.5 was still the current thing. Frankly I considered it a mixed blessing since it had a habit of BUZZing geothermals at me from generators in other people's buildings 500+ blocks away.
