What mod adds ferrous ore?
Lead?

I might need a few more, but will post again when I am finally able to sit down and play ;)

I'm using the DW20 pack, and some items are not appearing in the NEI recipes. Hoping for some continual updates to NEI plugins.

I did a few google searches, but couldn't find a definitive answer :D the FTB community is the best source of info imo :)

Lead is coming from ThermalExpansion, and is used in ThermalExpansion as well as Factorization. Ferrous ore... I think is ThermalExpansion as well. (It evidently has no use... yet, although GregTech uses it but DW20 pack does not have GregTech).

NEI problem is due to some wockiness (wockyness?) from the 1.4.6 update. It'll be fixed by 1.4.7 ;)

Lead is generated by both Thermal Expansion and Factorization. Thanks to good FTB config management and setup, it is only the Thermal Expansion version that spawns.

You might want to specify what items you think are missing from NEI though.

Mindcrack has Gregtech and I believe Ferrous is used in the creation of the Industrial Blast Furnace.

Thermal Expansion has the ferrous ore.

Thermal Expansion, Factorization, and Greg Tech all have lead ingots. Although, I think only TE has lead ore in world gen.

Quartz Crystal is from XYCraft.

Er, Factorization does not have Lead Ore. It has Silver Ore in large veins meant to be processed in Factorization machines to get both Lead and Silver out of it. I'm pretty sure all Copper, Tin, Silver, and Lead (and of course Ferrous) generation in the two up to date packs are controlled by Thermal Expansion.

Lead ore, lead ingot. Interchangeable in my mind, sort of. But fixed.

They all have lead ingots. :p

Lead is used in making Hardened Glass (along with pulverized Obsidian), which is a component in Liquiduct Pipes, Redstone Power Conduit (empty), and the Redstone Power Cell (Empty).

Ferrous Ore currently serves no purpose. Might be best to hoard it until one appears. Also note that you have a small chance of obtaining pulverized ferrous ore when you pulverize iron ore.

Grinding ferrous ore in a gregtech industrial grinder gives 1 tiny pile of platinum dust, so 32 gets you 8 platinum dust, which can be industrial centrifuged to create 1 piece of iridium, you can get some other stuff too.

Wow really, that seems kind of OP, I've been getting a bunch of ferrous from both mining it and pulverizing iron.
