TE pulverizer that uses diamonds instead of flint and has 4x speed.

Here's how the ore processing will work in my mod. tier 1 - requires 3 flint 1.5 output of ores. tier 2 - requires 1 diamond doubles your ores tier 3 3 diamonds 2.5 ore output. Then later tiers[DOUBLEPOST=1400101427][/DOUBLEPOST]
The extra conduit should be at least thicker than regular conduits (6/8 of a block)).

TE Data Relay. It has a configurable range and relays all equipment using COFH core to have a single attachment point to OpenPeripherials.

Not using COFH Core not adding any cross-mod compatibility yet.[DOUBLEPOST=1400101627][/DOUBLEPOST]
Yup. Several years ago I had this wonderful idea that I should make a website so me and everyone could mingle and socialize I had it all figured out and when I described it to my friend, he said to me... You mean like MySpace?

On topic, I know buildcraft has fillers that do something similar but perhaps a system that runs off RF that can convert one type of material into another as long as there is adjacent blocks. I.e. build structure out of quick construction materials get it right hook up system run converts to fancy obsidian bricks? Requires lots of energy and lots of obsidian bricks?
What are you saying I make here?

Basically its matter reconstructor. You key in a target block set the reconstructor next to it add to internal inventory or pipe in the item you want to replace it with power the sucker and it will replace each block adjecent block of given type with the new one. Or maybe setup similar to filler but runs on a xyz cube and replaced all of specified type within cube (whichever would be more feasible)[retrospective setting the cube is much more useful].

I know I'm not the only one who thought it'd be a great idea to build something out of one type of block to decide later that a different block would look better. The matter reconstructor would fill a role I haven't seen another mod fill. No pun intended.

Example your starting out and build a really detailed structure but you use cobble because that's what's handy and plentiful. Later you decide you've got a ton of nether bricks which would rather have used for the structure and instead of going block by block rebuilding you hook up CarbonBasedGhost's matter reconstructor, set area, add raw material, and power. You now have a netherbrick fort. Later you have an enormous supply of diamonds and you want to be a show off you can change all those nether bricks to diamond blocks... Ect ect.

So basically a tech-based wand of equal trade in block form

If I'm not mistaken the wand replaces only blocks you point the wand at. A matter reconstructor would be automated requiring less running around to each block. Though that is similar in thought.

I see now. Sorry, just misread your post :)

I think this is a great idea, but I would suggest some changes to make it controllable and flexible. Some of it is rephrasing what you want, some of it is how I would change things.
  1. I would suggest that it be in the form of a gun and takes an RF charge.
  2. You have one slot for the block type to change and one slot for the block type to change to.
  3. The gun uses your inventory to exchange items with
  4. Quantity of items to exchange per use with the concept of #5
  5. The gun has multiple modes: only items in line of site, in a 3D radius, in a strip (x, y, or z).
This will allow you to change a lot more in a manner that is allows you to change design quickly and effectively.

Are you still looking for ideas?

High powered RF conduits that has a higher connection, so up to 4 times higher than the normal 80RF/tick. You build it with normal empty conduit and a Ender Perl. You then install the conduit. You then use attach it to a pressure valve that accepts a fluid duct. This allows you to use a fluid that is 2part redstone and 1 part glowstone. Using the conduit uses 1mB/tick at setting of 1 which is twice the RF connection capacity.

The mod has strayed from it's original goal. It is now primarily EU/GT powered with tons of progression (and bugs) but it does include a lot of RF compatibility. That includes RF conduits and tesseract nerfs (10 tesseract stages, along with 10 conduit stages (includes normal conduits and tesseract)

Tartarus.. I mean at work. Same thing really.
High capacity energy/fluid/item transport- but only in an uninterrupted straight line.

Machines with replaceable parts- "pulveriser" as a GUI slot for the grinding wheel, sawmill as a sawblade.
Different grades of parts have different recipes, efficiencies, durabilities
lightweight parts are energy efficient, heavy parts use more energy, but process faster
upgraded parts process materials for greater returns [diamond sawblade yields 6 planks, iron gives 5]
If a part is removed before it breaks, the materials can be recycled.

Machines, engines ect with warmup and cooldown times.

Some kind of large crushing device to "reverse craft" stuff into its constituent dusts/scraps. (minetweaker style recipe adding?)
Ore->ore dust
Stone->Gravel
Wood->pulp/chips/sawdust
Metal block->9x metal dust
Piston->iron dust, wood pulp, redstone, 2x gravel
Tools/armour->Nx relevant dust [regardless of durability used]
TnT->explosion (why not?)
And that very funny moment some clumsy idiot falls in; resulting in a crushed inventory and some "mystery mince"
