Hi I am currently playing the new 1.7.10 direwolf modpack and when I have made a tesseract I was wondering why the security tab has gone and so I can set it to private mode? Is there a way I can upgrade it to get that back?

In 1.7.10 you need to make a signalum lock in order to get that security tab back. If you check tesseract uses with NEI it should be there. I think it's a signalum lock and some signalum nuggets, can't check it right now though, sorry
Same with strongboxes and pretty much all machines, the recipe you see in NEI using the lock and nuggets is to be able to lock that block's usage.
