They are like fans not item cannons. Unless I am mistaken daffomills don't fire an item on a defined trajectory. They push items in the direction they are facing.
Could solve the problem of having an ugly feeding system hanging over your mana garden. Of course item cannons do this already but it seems like a feature Botania should have natively.
