Hey guys, I hope this is the right place to post this sort of questions :) I just started using FTB Lite2 on a server with some friends and tried to build some of the Thermal Expansions 3 machines, especially the Redstone Furnace. To give them power, it looks like I need to build these Energy Cells first.
So I tried building a Leadstone Energy Cell, but couldn't manage to get a "Redstone Conductance Coil", which consists of "Electrum Ingots". Since it looks like there aren't any Electrum Ores anywhere, I can only craft them by smelting Electrum Blend, for which I need Pulverized Gold and Pulverized Silver.
To create those, I need a Pulverizer though, which won't work unless I connect it to an Energy Cell, which I can't build without a Pulverizer :/

I hope you can understand the problem I'm having here. Basically I need another powersource than Energy Cells to power up my Pulverizer. Would be great if someone could help me out! :D

Energy Cells only works like batteries, your more interested into the producers or the power source itself. A dyano or anything that splits out RF will do.

Yea I already got a Steam Dynamo and made it work but I need the Energy Cell to save the energy it produces so I can use my Redstone Furnace :/

The dynamo has internal energy storage. Hook the dynamo up to the pulverizer, get the electrum blend, smelt that into ingots, make the cell, and then rewire everything to feed into / from the cell.

For now you can move it around/attach some leadstone ducts to carry the power to both of the machines. Then you can produce that elecutrum for the Energy cell and go from there.

As an aside, if you're playing a 1.7.10 pack that has Tinkers Construct in it, the level of crossmod compatibility with thermal expansion is brilliant.

You can put gold and silver in a smeltery (ores or ingots, it doesn't care which) and it'll automatically alloy them to make electrum for you :)
