RFTools, my friend. RFTools.
I already know about RFTools. It's improved greatly but it still doesn't have the raw mechanical functioning of the Myst portals. It has teleportation, yes. But it's point-to-point with established recievers and transporters, dailing and stuff. It works, but it doesn't fill NEARLY the same niche as mystcraft portals do/did. Which is fine. It does things the way it wants to do things, I just happen to want something to fill a niche that RFTools simply isn't designed to so I can feel good about getting rid of LaggyProfilingAndUnstableDimensionsCraft. My pack is a magitek "kitchen sink" built more around tech anyway, so it makes sense to use RFTools as my main dimension builder.
Well kitchen sink... sorta... I'm doing a lot more work to it than something like Infinity/Monster, but nowhere near as much as the frankly horrible rash of overtuned garbage that spawned from Crash Landing, ME^3, ME^4, and Agrarian Skies. All of which were good, but the imitators... UGH They don't spend NEARLY enough time and effort making a proper experience.
Mystcraft works, but it has finally changed enough to dissatisfy me to a degree that I have already started testing replacements. RFT works for like 99% of scratching my MystCraft urge (I don't like sharing a void age, I do actually make pretty-looking exploration/custom ages... often for things like dungeons/villages and other worldgen structures, I also have very specific criteria on mining ages and I use CoG... I dunno if Aroma's Mining World will fit my personal standards. Normal packs sure, this one? I also don't feel like testing anymore)
Edit: Yes I remember the new teleporters that came about very soon after I brought this up as an issue to you
@McJty. They certainly aid in usability, but there's a certain something still missing for me that I don't think really fits into RFT, but would quite nicely in a "recreate Mystcraft portals" addon for WarpBook
