Can someone tell me how to organise my mystcraft pages to make one that's a void age has no weather has a ender star field always looks like night but is actually is always morning so my solar panels can run at max efficeny ?[DOUBLEPOST=1365190482][/DOUBLEPOST]And also I saw the guide but the new writing system is a pain in the butt.....

void plains single biome standard terrain noon zero length dark sun end zero length dark moon east noon full length end star field standard lighting no weather clear modifers

That's what I'd try. If you're on single player or your own server, you could back it up before trying if you don't want to waste the attempt. Also set difficulty to peaceful if you can, it may reduce instability if you that that turned on. Then once made set difficulty back to normal.

Note: I don't know if a dark sun overhead will produce sunlight for the solar panels, you need to test that before anything else.

I have one from before the massive mystcraft re-write that seems to still be stable, but I have normal time. I have not yet successfully created a instability-free age since the change.

One thing to watch out for- if you have even minimal flux and that flux causes it to start raining, you're screwed as there is no way to stop it other than wait for approx 2 weeks in game time.

Woah ...Thank you for the heads up on the flux.

Change it from plains to Desert ... maybe even though it's void it'll apply the desert no-rain effect even if flux occurs.

Try this, might work:

single biome, [any] biome, void, [zero length, rising, dark sun], [zero length, noon, ender starfield], [zero length, end, dark moon], [black, sky colour], no weather, standard lighting, boundless sky

Not tried this myself so don't know if a dark sun will power solars or if you can modify a normal sun to the same colour as the sky [black, zero length, rising, normal sun].

I meant to specify that's if you have the "no weather" setting in your age. Apparently there is some issue with the way thaumcraft does weather vs what Minecraft does as the game already thinks there is no rain, Reis minimap shows sunshine. Bees stop working though :(

This got me curious, just tried what both options I posted.

First was stable but using [zero length, noon, dark sun] solar was only outputting nighttime output and the ender starfield wasn't visable.

Second one also stable had [black, zero length, noon, normal sun] and the sun was the normal colour straight above, powered solar fully, so as far as I can tell you must have a visible sun, I maybe wrong.

Well On attempt two this what happend:2013-04-05_14.29.11.png
Much Like your first attempt no ender starfield solars output nighttime and the world was stable so now Im just deciding whether I will give up eu production or the cool night time affect for the build Im going to make

For the guys afraid of weather, can't you just make some bees and make a machine to stop the rain? (rain maker from forestry I think)
