Anyone have a receipt of a dense ore world

I can not find a good setup that seems to work. I always have some weird things.

Looking for a stable age with dense ore

edit: ups spelling errors.
 
You cannot make a stable age with Dense Ores. The only somewhat possible way would be if you wanted to add meteors, scorched earth, and other terrible destruction causing pages to cancel out the dense ores.
 
Any good setups.
Got tons of pages now but i have little clue what to do with it. Had a plan to use it for dense ore, but since that seem to be a problem i need new ideas and recipt to set them up?

Anyone?
 
That is most likely a bug ^. Dense ores is meant to be a "load up the world mine quickly and get out" kinda page. A good idea for quarry worlds would be dungeons, mineshafts, flat, and mushroom biome. If you want emeralds, then change mushroom biomes to extreme hills and add eternal day. The dungeons and mineshafts will allow for loot from chests to be found and the mushroom biomes will keep monsters away.
 
But what recipts?
I need a list of what pages to put first and so on.
For some reason my worlds seems to fial :p
 
i dont know if you would want to do this but you could always disable instability in the config file. then you could set up a dense ore age without having to worry any nasty side-effects. the decision is yours of course.

Can you stack up multiple pages of the same negative effect to help balance it out? or is 100 pages of scorched earth the same as 1 page?

I know it helps at least somewhat, but I don't know how well they stack.

I've just used Charged, turned my volume off, and built my quarry completely underground. Scorched Earth degrades stone and possibly metal, even underground. In a world with 64 Scorched, I kept running into individual gravel squares while mining.

In 1.4.7 and 1.5.2 I was using the same approach.

Exteme Hills Biome (for the emeralds)
Dense Ore x1
Charged x3
Scorched Surface x3
Eternal Rain (to extinct any fire that could be cause by lightning)
all the other necessary pages, like lighting, time, celestials etc.

Then the quarry also under ground (mostly starting at level 55). It would still give some additional debuffs, but it was most of the time something like Hunger, which doesn't have an effect under ground. THe worlds were mostly stable (as in no meteors and no corrosions), so I was running quarries for days there.
