Mystcraft Compatability

Hello, I run a server on Mindcrack pack and I would like to know what problems would arise if I added Mystcraft to the server as it is a mod I quite rely on. Also on a side note, if I changed the Thermal Expansion ore spawn rates would those apply in a normal Mystcraft world without Dense Ores. Thank you in advance!

If you are running version 6, just adding it will prevent any players from joining as the mystcraft items do not properly match up item IDs on server vs. client.

Just reporting to you. I found a solution to the Mystcraft problems with Mindcrack server.

In the server's cfg folder there is a file named "mystcraft.cfg" Distribute this to all players and make sure they replace the similar file in their own client cfg folder with this. They should be able to connect, and if you are using Mindcrack v6 server there shouldn't be any crashes.
