Hello,
I am still figuring out mystcraft, as it is very new to me
and i would appreciate if someone could give me an example of a good age for mining
(as in what pages to use in what order)
Thanks!

And so you have stuff to compare here is my mining world in the order it is in the book (I'd leave out rainbow if I remade it):

single biome, meadow biome, dark moon, dark stars, standard lighting, no weather, standard terrain, [zero length, noon, normal sun], villages, crystals, rainbow, clear modifiers

The Biome controller comes after the biome. The clear modifiers will remove both biome pages and therefore cause instability.

He put some things in the wrong order. Switch the biomes. Put full Length before Dark Moon. Lighting and weather are fine. Terrain is fine. Sun stuff is fine. Keep Clear Modifiers.

my age is stable, as far as i understood it dark moon qualifies for the moon requirement but doesn't need a length modifier because it's saying there is no moon. As for the biome and biome controller, the wiki states both these do not accept modifiers, which would suggest that one isn't modifying the other so the order in which they're entered shouldn't matter. If you wanted to look my world is downloadable so you can see the descriptive book or the age: world download

this is the world i got

ooooooooooo
o o
o x o
0 i o
ooooooooooo

the "o" are the edge of land
"x" is the square i landed on
"i" is library thing
gap between "o" and "x" is empty blue space

If it's a black moon with a white outline, it's a new moon. That's a vanilla feature where the moon goes through the same monthly phases it does in the real world.[DOUBLEPOST=1365974439][/DOUBLEPOST]Here's a GIF of the vanilla moon's phases in the overworld. http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Moon
thank god...
i thought mystcraft had somehow screwed with my overworld and i thought that everything was doomed :p

Was there any need for this thread? You already had a mystcraft related thread open and made in the same bloody day...
