My FTB keeps crashing on startup.

I tried opening the game on the FTB launcher and all was working fine, but suddenly, my external hard drive decided to disconnect itself and the launcher froze on the MOJANG screen. I tried again and my hard drive disconnected itself again, so I switched the USB port it was connected in. Now FTB will not progress past the MOJANG screen and gives me this crash report.

Can someone help me fix this error so I can play again?

You edited the gregtech config file and there's something wrong in it

Unknown character ' ' in '/config/GregTech/GregTech.cfg:1'

That suggests an extra space or tab in the file which should not be there, it's possible the :1 at the end of that line signifies line 1.

Gregtech.cfg should be plain text, I've no idea what's happened to that, I suggest you click force update on the launcher options and make it redownload the file (delete it first).
