I was curious about your ftb creations and I like to share mine in the same way.

Far buildings ( white ) is my friend home and my brother.

Zombies spawner / Thaumcraft laboratory / Thaumcraft bank

Automated recycler area and lava energy from nether to my base with 160 water mill

Basement

Nano armor / electric jet pack recharge station via enderchest + sending ore and stuff here when on the road.

In the server I play, I've created a base fit for a dwarf. It's mostly just a tunnel through a red rock mountain with the occasional offshoot. Might upload pics tomorrow morning.

Thank I have no doubt about what you are saying. Im not the best engineer out there Im at learning step. Recently started to automatize my lava energy from nether to my house and the automatized recycler ( recycling garden goods with my golems ).

Thanks, wish I could claim credit for it but I can't. First saw the spiral made by Sjin of Yogscast in his let's build videos. Thinking about making 2 new dimensions in Mystcraft: Lava Ocean age and a dense ores age for mining and lava pumping so I cant stop destroying the nether so much. I say that and yet I have a max size BC quarry in the nether ripping apart a nether fortress for the bricks. LOL

I love a nice clean build more than the gadgets. i've been in my mindcrack world for a while now and just making gadgets was killing my desire to build. I just started in ultimate but despite having more gadgets and a better understanding of how to use them, i'm focusing on aesthetics this time around. Its more fun to me when things look nice and liveable than just industrial and tightly packed

Thank ! Yea I understand what your saying . Slowly but surrely I build my ' gadget ' around my house. Living in a cave with gadget its not what I love but we are all different. Here my last build inside my house basement, a enderman farm ( not finished because I have to set up the machines ) but the farm itself work perfectly.

Hahahaha yea Me and my friend was clueless about how farming the enderman. Then my brother made a couple turret to defend is home. That give us the idea about the enderman and we tryed. We was very happy about the result and started to build our farming room.

I wonder if the turrets kill them faster than using quick sand?

No idea ..lol...quick sand...what a nice idea..haha. Someday I will have to try it. I have set timer and and stuff to control how fast the enderman spawn to give a chance to the turret.

Here my last project, a diamond farming machine all automated.

The cobblestone send to the grinder for gravel then send to pulverizer for silex.

Finally, obsidienne made by igneous extruder and send to a diamond chest ( in the diamond farming room ) operated by stone golem.
