Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

You don't need to log in on the launcher to play modpacks. We are aware of this issue (I have it myself) so it should get resolved fairly soon, but as you can play despite it the team are working on more critical bugs right now.
If you are having problems with the app then the best place to get help with it is in the #ftb-app channel on our Discord server. There are App developers there helping players with problems and fixing bugs as they find them.
