MultiMC5, no sound whatsoever

I tried to use MultiMC5 just to find out that the sound wasn't working. There's no sound! When I click a button in the screen, no sound. No music. No mob sounds.

Now, I've been able to diagnose the problem (MultiMC can't download a few things from Mojang - namely, the sound and music), but I don't know how to fix it.

Does anyone know how to fix it?

copy the files that MultiMC tried to download from Mojang from another instance that you have that does have the files downloaded?

Nope, none of the instances has the files downloaded.

copy assets from original mc destination in appdata that is how i fixed it .

I already did that, and whenever I launch an application again, it wipes the new files out.

Make sure you have the latest version of MultiMC5 from multimc.org website...
