Using Direwolf20 v4, we imported a vanilla map into the server and ran to a new Temperate Rainforest biome. After about 10 real hours of mining, we've found exactly ONE cluster of 6 diamonds under the nearby glacial biome. None in the temperate rainforest. I've 3x3'd nearly every diamond spawning level of the chunks in my temperate rainforest biome and not found one.

Further, upon mentioning this in my thread in the general discussion forum we also heard other people say they've had major problems finding diamonds in these biomes.

Might there be some bugs in Extra Biomes–or perhaps undocumented features–that could tweak the diamond spawn rates?

P.S., I was not present and so I cannot promise that someone didn't use creative to hack it in, but another group on my server in the Autumn Forest biome found this incredibly unlikely deposit of diamonds. They claim they did not place it and it was part of worldgen. I didn't see any evidence in my logs of them spawning diamond blocks.

Hmm u can use the config files to tweak the spawn rate in biomes i think you should try that.

Does the same problem happen when you recreate a new world instead of importing a vanilla world. I presume the already discovered chunks from the vannila world makes the diamonds rare. The newly generated chunks should contain indeed more.
