So I just updated to Monster 1.1.0 and got the newest version of Gregtech, and I can nolonger make red alloy dust/ingots for Gregtech. Or am I just missing something... My friends were having an issue before where they're NEI was screwed up and not showing every recipie. Is this happening to me now? If so, how would I go about fixing it?

Well, I have no interest of removing GT (official support or not). And both are freshly installed.
Personally, I like GT. Without it, it's really easy to fly through the game. It makes things take much longer, and give me more end game content to try and build. But I found the answer to my dilemma anyway.
To make machines you need red alloy plates, made of red alloy ingots. I couldn't find any recipe in the NEI that let me make the ingots w/o machines... But that's because the recipes don't show the use of the steam variants of machines. So now I know I just have to work on my steam age stuffs.
Glad you figured it out.. Came here to point you towards the steam alloy smelter.

I said the easiest way to get rid of the issue is to delete it. I would say that anytime someone had an issue. Easiest way to get rid of issue is to delete issue causing mod. Read my post completely I go on to try and help them I wasn't gt bashing I was trying to solve his issue.

Out of curiosity, why don't any of the FtB packs have Gregtech in them anymore? Some of the older ones did, but none of the newer ones. Which is sad, for as I said, I really like the time and stuff it adds to the game.

I wouldn't call it rage- This was (originally) a legitimate question stemming from lack of information/NEI being derpy.
All the "rage" and generally stupid/unhelpful posts seem to be coming from the anti greg brigade at the moment- which sends a pretty powerful message if you ask me.
