Modpack Recommendations?

I've always been a fan of FTB packs, but no matter what pack I play (unless it's a HQM map) I tend to abandon it after a week or two. Anyone know what modpacks may suck me into it? I prefer magic mods but will still play tech-centered packs.
 
If you don't mind waiting a few more days (no more than a week, I hope) the first link in my signature will be public :)
If not there is: Running Red and Crash Landing which are really good. Or you could go for Agrarian Skies too :P
 
Tried all three of those, but I'm looking for something a bit more survival-based. I'll still check out your modpack though.
 
For true adventure/combat survival, I'd recommend Running Red 2: Vampire Money. A large update'll happen today/tomorrow, and at that point it will be ready for it's official release. A beta version is already available.

I'm pretty sure a #ShamelessPlug is needed?

But from what I have seen so far, this is more the sorta pack the OP is looking for :)
 
I have checked out RR2, but turned away due to it being vastly unfinished. It probably will end up being what I'm looking for.
