Alright, I installed FTB maybe a little over a week ago - and it worked great! I installed Direwolf20's pack and everything was running smoothly. That was the first day before I installed Mo Creatures and Optifine, and then my Forestry mod started having a problem and the game kept crashing every 15 to 20 minutes into the game for no clear reason. I removed Mo Creatures and Optifine since I didn't have problems until I included those, and still had the problem. Then a few days ago it told me my modpack was out of date and that I could update it, so I said okay thinking it would fix Forestry. . . Then everything kind of broke. Now it won't even download anything from FTB at all, it always gets a fraction of the way through the download before telling me there was an error downloading the modpack. I even tried removing Direwolf20's modpack from my computer and all the saves regarding it, etc, but it still doesn't work anymore.
My Internet is relatively slow seeing as I'm a bit in the middle of 'nowhere', but I'm confused as to how that would affect the download now when it was fine the first time. Also, I have Kaspersky on my computer which I just updated to the 2013 version - but I'm really afraid to uninstall it at all. If that's a last resort then I'll try it.
I'm new to mods for Minecraft, as well, so I'm sorry if I seem a bit slow. Heh. I'm by no means new to the game, though. Love it. ^^
Anyways, if anyone has any suggestions? Please and thank you.
