Does it really confuse everyone? It does confuse you; fine. I'll have normal base 10 at the start.
But it provides a nice little mental challenge, and I'm sure it's entertaining for others. Besides, if I have broken a law, then LawBroken would tell me, and I'd have to ... do something different.
And, the longer this runs, the more challenging it is for me. I came up with base 13 because I had to come up with something new. The sequence of math operation on numbers came from someone else giving me a challenge. Right now, after about 10 items, I'm forced to come up with something new ... if the counting would not be broken and the law says to start over.
