There are definitely lasers. Warp drive... yes, but there is a risk of terrible daemonic beings from the Immaterium (the warp realm; analogous to subspace from Star Trek) devouring your souls. Unless you have a navigator who can do the job properly.

115 I've been playing my modpack for about a week now, and I've already made it to the moon and defeated the Skeleton Boss. It wasn't all that hard, really. The only hiccup was that I accidentally hit F1 at the start and had to waste a golden apple. :/ I'm well on my way to making the Tier 2 rocket, and based on what I've been reading, the Creeper Boss won't be that hard either
