Mod to replace chest opening sound

I am wondering if there is a small mod somewhere that just replaces the chest opening and closing sound. I want to know because I always open and close chests a lot looking for stuff and the sound gets bothersome. Thanks.

But I don't know how to edit the specific sound file, and even if I could, I don't know what sound to even use.

for the sound to use, just an empty .ogg file if you don't want them to make any sound.

If you want to know what sound file to edit, I don't know either but google probably does.

Make a resource pack where it randomly selects from a list of Duke Nukem quotes when you open a chest.

And sheep make sweary Sean Bean noises

.ogg is an open source sound format that's been around since 1993... I'm pretty sure the ID games (Doom, Quake, etc.) used them.
