I'm am having the hardest time getting mobs to spawn on my SMP server, I have read around and done all the basic things you would ask me to do. Below is some technical info about my server and methods I have taken to help remedy the situation.
FTB Ultimate 1.1.2
Start script:
START "FTBUltimate1.bat" /NORMAL /MIN java -Xms1G -Xmx5G -jar ftbserver.jar nogui
MODS:
All standard mods that come with FTB Ultimate 1.1.2 in addition to [1.4.6]TreeCapitator.Forge.1.4.6.r03.Uni.CoreMod
Steps taken:
View distance was changed from 10 to 7 at one point, did not resolve.
Changed /gamerule doMobSpawning true, did not resolve.
Changed Difficulty to hard, did not resolve.
Deleted and rebuilt and .properties file, did not resolve.
Removed everything but the world and reloaded everything, did not resolve.
Loaded the world up in single player on another PC, did not resolve.
At some point the mobs came back but only for a day or 2 and have vanished again. Spawners still work and we only see very few mobs if lucky normally 1 or 2 at best.

PLEASE HELP!
I should mention that they did indeed spawn before, quite often and saturated the land.
