Is it just me or does the minium stone seem abit buggy?

Everytime I try to go make a certain item it will not allow me to make it such as obsidian I use to wooden logs to try and make it and it never does. I restart my game and it works. Is this a bug or just my game

Yes it's a known bug. If it appears that you can't craft something with it just try clicking the output box anyway. The item will come out
