Without the Power Converters Mod, you would have to build a RailCraft Steam Turbine. The ~210 mb Steam/t that a stack of Steam Boilers with 240 mirrors generates would only run it at about 65% though. Alternatively, you can run ~5 Industrial Steam Engines to generate 40 MJ/t of of that instead..

Run lead wire from your Factorization Steam Turbine to the Battery Box, it will charge up and to my knowledge only discharge when there is no other source of Charge and a machine is requesting power (Factorization Grinder / etc). There are visual indicators on the block itself to show how charged it is, you can also use a Charge Meter and right click on it. Additionally, when in your inventory the Battery Box retains its stored power (for the purposes of certain recipes)

Hey Raisu how can you have that much power to run with 65%?
the highste i get with the setup from above is around 44%

can you make me please a screenshot from your setup?

Edit: i get 87eu/t on the steam turbin

Well, I gave that 65% on the knowledge that maxing out the steam boiler stack with the 240 mirror setup would generate ~210 mb/t. A railcraft steam turbine needs 320mb/t to operate at 100% and 210/320 is 65%.

Given the numbers you gave before:
i tested 7 boilers with 8 mirrors each for 56 mirrors total that setup produced 7MJ/t in engines or ~11% on a railcraft turbine for 22,22 EU/t

the second setup were all 56 mirrors on one solar boiler that produced 10,5mj/t in engines or ~17% on a railcraft turbine for 33,33EU/t

Other test with 6 boilers with 8 mirrors each gave 6MJ/t in engines or ~9% on a railcraft turbine
All 48 mirrors on one boiler 9mj or ~14% on a railcraft turbine

This somewhat lines up with the information you posted before (granted a small amount of error) as the 210mb/t for 240 mirrors = 0.875mb steam per mirror per tick. 0.875*56 = 49 and 49/320 = 15% (2% off from the 17% you mentioned). 0.875*48 = 42 and 42/320 = 13% (just 1% off from the 14% you mentioned)

I'll do some testing later today to check a few things.

I'm stll testing the mirrors needed for whitch ratio i will create a diagram
for example 24 mirrors have a 0,1750 mj/mirror rating

and beside that i'm building a big solar farm :)
2iavjpu.png

the setup contains 436 mirrors (thats 54,5 stacks silver omg) on 12 boilers and is 49x49 big

still working on it like the middle building is far from finish xD

If someone is still interested here the date from my test:

Mirrors on 1 Boiler / MJ OUtput / MJ each Mirror

4 - 0,2 - 0,050
8 - 1 - 0,125
12 - 1,8 - 0,150
16 - 2,6 - 0,163
20 - 3,4 - 0,170
24 - 4,2 - 0,175
28 - 5 - 0,179
32 - 5,8 - 0,181
36 - 6,6 - 0,183
40 - 7,35 - 0,184
44 - 8,2 - 0,186
48 - 8,95 - 0,186
52 - 9,8 - 0,188
56 - 10,55 - 0,188

As you can see the more you have on a boiler the better but the bonus gets less and less.

Interestingly enough, yet expected. The layout I had posted previously for a 240 mirror solar boiler, being the max you could have and generating ~210mb/t

Boiler - Mirrors - MJ
Layer 8 - 56 - 10.55
Layer 7 - 40 - 7.35
Layer 6 - 36 - 6.6
Layer 5 - 32 - 5.8
Layer 4 - 28 - 5
Layer 3 - 24 - 4.2
Layer 2 - 16 - 2.6
Layer 1 - 8 - 1
Total 43.1

43.1 * 4375 = 188562.5 (This is the conversion of MJ to Energy Bridge Internal Storage)
188562.5 / 875 = 215.5 (This is the conversion of Energy Bridge Internal Storage to Steam)
