saying e=mc^2 is like picking out a sentence from a conversation. e=mc^2 isn't the entire equation (find it yourself, I can't remember it by heart) you used it to make yourself seem smart, it failed. Give up already.

For the record, the full equation.

E^2 = (mc^2)^2 + (pv)^2

Which, coincidently, is also a Pythagorean equation.

On the gravity suit: it is not OP by any stretch of the imagination. Even sans-gregtech it's a massive pain to make and obnoxious to maintain its power. Most people need never even make one; it's actually very specialized in use.

However what is the point of having any mechanics or mods if you can circumvent them with one mod? Why play in survival at all when you can just play in creative mode?

Right. EE2 was never a fair design for a mixed mod game. That's the end of it.[DOUBLEPOST=1361825489][/DOUBLEPOST]

The ironies of the Pythagorean equation:
  1. It is fundamental to the universe and show up everywhere yet...
  2. It is actually incorrect for most of the math it was invented to handle.

That's because A, B, C not because they have any idea about an equation.

"Have you heard of the pythagorean theorem?"
"Have you heard of E=mc^2?"

Granted, one is the equation itself and one is the name - but that is how someone without interest will know both of them legitimately. If you ask them A + B = ? They will say C as well usually. They have no idea what they are saying they are just using their common sense and applying their alphabet where there appears to be letters.

Just because someone has been through school doesn't mean they will remember it either. It's a safe guess that 80%+ of the people who have heard of E=mc^2 couldn't even explain what the equation stands for, never mind what it means. More people will understand the pythagorean theorem since it is a fairly basic math concept.

tr 'ABC' 'XYZ' and I bet they can still finish it and even say it pertains to triangles. The Pythagorean theorem is beyond famous; it's ubiquitous and ingrained.

Maybe in school/college/university... For people above the age of 25 most would not understand it is to do with triangles.
