MFFS Forcefield core missing?

I just got into FTB a few days ago, and everything I've read about the MFFS mod shows that I need a forcefield core.

The recipe's don't work and its not showing up in NEI when I search. I get the extractor, the security station, and the projector but no core. Is the FTB version a bit different?

try to reinstall the modpack or force update.

Re-installed the server, and the client and still no good. Nobody else can find the recipe either in NEI.

Why should I feel embarrassed about asking a question about something that doesn't seem to have decent documentation?

No need for that, most people will be jumping to FTB from Tekkit and Tekkit is grossly out of date with mods. Also most wiki's are not fully up to date with the latest changes to the mods.

but FTB will have a updatet wiki at some point, and then you should look there

also, FTB just got a new support section, next problem should be posted there
