0 and I just tried some mods in 1.8 and discovered 2 things
HOLY @$#@ it goes fast. its the first time I reached 300 fps granted it was in a cave but still I never reached that in vanilla before. I also accidentally added a mod that makes the world look nicer, how much nicer you might ask? the logs of trees are now roundish and that is just the start. Lowest fps I got was around 30 when I was flying generating new terrain over heavily nicer looking terrain.
the other thing I discovered is that this instance likes to crash on me >_>

edit 2 for reference about the gen thing: in 1.7 I would get constant lag spikes of a whopping 0 fps for several seconds making the game an absolutely unplayable mess and then I am not even talking about the other problems 1.7 has for me unless I work around it with mods.
