Apologies if this is really obvious, but how do you get ME Network crafting to use the same ore in different mods?

IE: If I have a recipe that requires a copper ingot, how can I make sure the ME Network pulls whatever is available, whether it's from IC2, TE, whatever. Aside from making the same recipe multiple times to cover each ore that is.

I feel like I saw this done, and I'm just completely forgetting. Any guidance?

It hasn't been working for me. Running pure FTB Monster 1.0.3. Had a recipe sitting around waiting forever. Had plenty of IC2 copper but had made the recipe with TE copper. Once I fixed the recipe it worked fine. Is there maybe something in the config I need to change?

Had it happen with copper and wood so far.

Hmm thats odd, it should work. In earlier versions it definitely did. Had it gopple up my entire wood collection before because my woodfarm stalled and I ran out of oak wood.
You could always make that Unifier from the mod I can never remember and just(automatically?) turn it all into the same type of ore/ingots.

Been having a bit of issues myself, not that much with ores though, mainly with Natura planks and sticks. The MAC doesn't allways seem to be supporting Natura

Yeah the shear number of mods that add types of woods etc and that some doesnt add them to the ore dictionary can be rather complicated at times. But from what I have experienced it have gotten a lot better in the new FTB packs(probably due to lot of config tweaking).
NEI recipes can be rather confusing now though with it cycling through so many different types :p

Yeah It is allmost an art to hit the right recipe in NEI when using the pattern provider

I used to make a habit of converting everything before inserting it in the system, but the quick answer is usually to make sure that you run all of your material processing through a single mod and keep your patterns locked to the materials from that mod.

As far as I understand the Unifier(not actually tried it yet), couldent you just set one up with an export bus on it and automate all the different ingots to be automatically changed? Cause some times you just cant choose which kind kind you get(for example metals from bees etc).

I'm not sure on that, I always used a Forge Lexicon, not a Unifier... but I was under the impression that even as dusts, ore processing relies on the machine you use, or if done in the crafting grid tends to default to the first entry in Forge. I believe the Unifier would work that way, but if not you could, as a slightly more complex example, run your metal grains through an auto crafting table to convert them to ingots, output that to a pulverizer and output the dust to one of the TE smelters, manually ensuring you will always get TE ingots.

or you can run your ingots into a JABBA barrel lock it to one kind of ingot as thay convert a ingot of the same kind automatically

And I think if you hook a fuzzy storage bus up to a transvector interface -> JABBA, AE can automatically drop all equivalent ores there, too. Doesn't seem to work directly though.
