Looking for Vehicle Mod

At the moment im looking for a good vehicle mod.
with mindcrack or specially traincraft, we have some fancy looking trains.
also the zeppelin is nice.

but...we are looking for something more universal, vehicles.
tried to install Flans mod, but its horrible to install this one, move this file to here, put this into your jar etc etc.
so im looking for a mod that i can simply put into my mods folder and run the server.
also a friend of me told me that the performance of flans is not that good, airplanes in smp are lagging, crashes etc, but i have never tried it.
so, do you know any mod like this? or is there any easy way to install flans if it is stable?

they were also buggy as all damnation. it's not fun to have your death star suddenly just despawn on you for no apparent reason. (I know how to reproduce it reliably once it happens in a world, something to do with crossing some kind of boundrary in regards to distance from where it was first built i think.

uh...you just put the flans-mod download into the mods folder and put content packs into the Flans folder

sure, the install is not the problem with feed the beast.
the problem is the performance of this mod. tried it in SP multiple times...
the cars cause crashes, standing in the terrain like ghosts, keybinding does not work every time...and i can run faster than they can drive.

the only problem ive notist is the jeeps not letting you get out of them. the planes are fine
