Looking for Holographic Table

Hay!
at the moment im looking for some kind of mod that adds another way to showcast items.
at the moment i know only the vanilla picture frames, but i dont like them.
im looking for something more sci fi, a block where you put in the item and it is shown as a holographic projection over it.
or if there is nothing like that, something else where i can put my "trophies" in

is there something like that?

Actually, besides the item frames, there is one other option I can think of. It's definitely not cheap, though:

The Iron Chests mod has something called a Crystal Chest. It's essentially a Diamond Chest (think a single chest with a very large capacity) which you can see through. This gets laggy fast if you put too much stuff in it, but it's perfect for showcasing single items. However, you need to produce a Diamond Chest to make one, and a diamond chest costs three two diamonds. Bling as hell, though.

This if out of the top of my head but.. I think I have seen something along those lines in one of DW20's videos, it was some Xycraft craftingbench/block/thingamajig that displayed it's recipe on top of itself. But.. well, it's Xycraft. Which kinda is the new RP2 in terms of "When?".

yes, xycraft has a block similar to the project table. it can load recipes through NEI and display the recipe on the top of the block. it's not yet released though
