Heya *waves*
Since today I'm playing around with the modpack, too.

Though two little things I need to ask:
Since I updated to the 1.1.4 Version the temperature, water and sanity bar all are in the upper left now, unreadable since they all take the same spot. Is that a problem cause I started the world with 1.1.3?

And more important... I need a little help with getting started in smeltery. I know the concept of using the crucible as mini-smeltery, though my big problem is: I need an ingot-cast to make ingots, but for making an ingot-cast I first need 1 ingot... which bings me to the point that I don't know how to get past this. Do I have to find an ingot somewhere in the world or is there something made to get past it which I not saw yet/probably oversaw?
(I tried using the flaxbeard-crucible/mold too, but had to notice then, that you cannot put ore into it)

You can configure the bars (sanity, temp, water) in the Enviromine settings. Hit ESC and you will see the button to config. As for the ingot cast, I think there are a few ways to do it. I believe you can just make the cast with a vanilla brick from clay. You can also use the flaxbeard's steampower crucible and mold to make ingots. I am not sure if they worked to make a cast or not.

It also takes the shattered ore you get from mining the pillars. You can make ingots from it + the mold before you get a smeltery going. It took me forever to figure out the brick too, don't worry.

What do you mean by one piece? Oh yea guys try to aim for the HEADS of the zombies/skeletons/pigmans if you are using tools so that you can 1 hit them!
I can only eat one piece of food before its food value drops so its not worth eating, its hard to get enough variety, maybe if I was having better luck fishing it would be easier, oh well theres always bait :p
The new food mod should help too, Im looking forward to trying it out :)

Gold can be mined with a pick axe that can mine coal!, Gold can be used to make cast!

The new food mod should help too, Im looking forward to trying it out :)

The food satuation resets every 12 hunger i think, so maybe eating 6 different food should sustain you

- Removed Journey map ( Performance issue)
- Xaero's minimap added
- Enabled sound by default ( Hopefully)
- Reconfigured environmine bar positions (Hopefully)

#minor update

Feel free to suggest food types that you would like! and the potion effects that you want from them!

More then a performance issue is the privacy issue since it seems the mod tracks and sends data to the developer...

Why not remove the options file from the update so we dont have to change graphical options, resource packs, remap keys, etc... every time we have an update?

oh LOL! i didnt know that was the file XD will do that in 1.1.5

Out of curiousity (and since I mostly only know the "common" ways most modpacks have included)

The late-game ore gathering will be over the botania-flower that turns stone into ores or is it meant to be that you run around alot from spire to spire?
(the mekanism-/generator-recipes kinda scare me when I look at how many diamonds a single piece needs)

Early games going to spires, and Hammering meteors... do note meteors can drop Copper,tin,gold,iron,osmium!... so hammering them can be good.
Mid Steve carts killing spires/ Drones hunting spires
late probaly what u stated above.
End game is going to the Deep dark and strip the world of its resources!

Yep dont worry about stuff, just follow the quest line and ur good! ( Note Gold can be made into cast!)

Anyone having problems with sinc, I died and it didn't activate my clone.
Also why does updating blastoff overwrite my world's.
When I update it starts me off on a fresh map all my stuff gone, But my quest book stays the same.

It shouldnt delete your world .... anyways always have backups of worlds before updating! sorry for the loss of your world :(

When you died your sync clone should activate, if its fully formed and loaded....
If you felt you died unlegitly you can just use a backup aromabackup made

I can't reproduce the issue you're having. I reset the quest 5 times using hqm edit, the clay registers every time after breaking 2 clay blocks.
Thanks for working on this for me. It's still not working, but the reward is hardly vital. I'll just continue on and perhaps I'll get an opportunity to try again in another play through.

@karmarcharger, no buttons are available on this quest for me...... it is waiting for me to get the clay and for whatever reason not recognizing my acquisition.

Backup your world, then update your client cause i am pretty sure u are using an old version! :p

Are you still using an older version of the pack? that screen looks like the base prior to the current version.
I know the quest was fixed on the last version i played (seriously, this pack is updating faster than small kids change their friends) i have it finished and if infitech2 didnt take 10 mins to load, id exit it, take a screenshot of my book to prove it :p
