Launcher v1.1.5 won't start game

I am able to run the game, but every time I launch it, it downloads minecraft (the minecraft jar, lwjgl, and a microsoft thing). Is this normal? Seems redundant.

Well this is part of your problem:

i enabled Java6 and reinstalled FTB and it worked once but then went right back to the original problem of crashing before it even loads. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

i got that from the MinecraftLog.txt
the launcher closes to fast to click on "post log" button. is there another way to do it?

you mean the minecraftlog.txt? then yes that is the whole log. sorry for my ignorance

New suggestion: Uninstall your launcher, restart your computer and reinstall it.

apparently i hadn't activated java 6 correctly and had to delete a folder in

/Library/Java/JavaVMMAchines/ for it to work.
FTB is working now, thanks for your help
