Launcher not working

My friend can't log into any of the packs. It just says "error occurred during downloading game" It worked perfectly until today, can anyone help?

Tell him to reinstall the launcher entirely. If he has any single player saves, tell him to back them up.

There is also the fact that sometimes, the servers that hosts the packs are overloaded, and can't answer.

"Try again later" is also something that could work.

My launcher works fine, and he tryed downloading from different servers. and he reinstalled it. Nothings working

Copy all of the launcher files from your computer over to his computer manually (USB disk, zip them up and use yousendit, etc).

I copied the files it didn't work. The log just says "error"
