Bug Launcher hangs when loading modpacks

Hey folks, Cptqrk here...

I've noticed lately that the FTB launcher hangs for a long time (read 1 minute or so) when it is loading the modpack list. It happens every time this line shows up in the console:

[19:42:22] [DEBUG] Benchmark.logBenchAs:73: Modpack Loader http://ftb/IWE35X5BKQ.xml took 2441 ms.

[19:42:22] [INFO] ModpackLoader.run:75: Loading modpack information for IWE35X5BKQ.xml...

[19:43:48] [INFO] AbstractModPackPane$8.run:314: Adding Third Party Pack: 21

Once it gets past this part, it seems to be fine, and I can load the modpacks I like to play. Any ideas?

FTB Launcher folks? Is this a known issue?

I've been hearing a lot of complaining about XML file issues from the launcher guys lately, so it may be related.

It would seem the XML is a bit FML... I mean umm...

It's not game breaking, just a bit frustrating. Once the launcher loads, I have no other problems!
