Lag when opening containers;

Whenever I open a chest or any container/machine in Feed the beast (Minecraft 1.5 works fine, no lag at all) it opens and drops my FPS to 1 for 5 minutes straight even after I close the chest/inventory/machine. I've had this problem forever on the server I play on and singleplayer. If anyone has any answers, please help!

Also, please don't reply with the computer spec questions and stuff like that, my computer isn't the best nor the worst so I should not be getting this lag (I get around 30+ on normal Minecraft 1.5).

Containers from which mod? Which mod pack are you using? Do you lag enough to disconnect? Are there any errors? Are you the only one on the server that experiences the lag?

Every container from Vanilla and everything you can use; I use Mindcrack. No, I don't lag enough to disconnect it just gives me HUGE FPS lag, and yes, I'm the only one to experience it.
